Architectural Design

The professional practice of Jamey Dewar, Architect, based in Atlanta, has been in operation since 2004. A licensed architect in the state of Georgia, Mr. Dewar has over 15 years of experience in architectural design, landscape design, and planning. He has a Masters Degree in Architecture from Tulane University in New Orleans, Louisiana.

His work history began with a two-year internship at the firm Ingram Parris Group in Valdosta. Afterward, Mr. Dewar spent eight years working as a Staff Architect with the prestigious international firm of Smallwood, Reynolds, Stewart & Stewart and Associates, in Atlanta. While at SRSS, his portfolio of design projects included work on many industrial and mixed-use buildings, as well as high rise office tower, high rise hotel, and luxury condominium buildings.

These projects include a new headquarters for Bellsouth Corporation in Atlanta, as well as the Riverside of the James, a mixed-use, high rise complex in downtown Richmond. Other notable projects include the Clayton Plaza in St. Louis Missouri, a 30-story residential tower and office complex, as well as the Grand America Hotel in downtown Salt Lake City, Utah. International projects include design work for the West Bay Complex and Four Seasons Hotel and Marina in Doha Qatar.

Since founding his own firm in 2004, his projects have been focused on smaller multi-family and commercial office buildings. Recent projects include a new facility for Lamar Advertising in Valdosta, Georgia, as well as Park Place, an apartment community also located in Valdosta. Mr. Dewar has extensive experience in construction management and apartment renovation.
